Acquisition Monumental Canal House by Joris van Gelder

On behalf of a Dutch private investor we have acquired a listed monumental canal house at the Herengracht in Amsterdam city center. The 1,000 m² large property is located in the Gouden Bocht, the most prestigious part of the Herengracht. The property is leased to Wijs & Van Oostveen, a company in Investment Management.

Acquisition Landmark Building by Joris van Gelder

On behalf of a Dutch private investor we have acquired a landmark building in Amsterdam South. The property is located prominently opposite the Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelijk Museum and in the High End Luxury shopping area of Amsterdam, near the Museum Square.Until the end of 2014 the property has been the office and showroom of the Dutch fashion designer Mart Visser. The new owner will renovate the whole building and transform the ground floor into a new Horeca formula.

Retail Transactions by Joris van Gelder

On behalf of a Dutch private investor we have acquired and sold some retail properties.

The properties are locatied in Hilversum, Terneuzen and Middelburg and leased to national retail chains like D-reizen, La Ligna and Creyf’s. The properties are acquired to increase and strengthen the current portfolio. The properties will be managed by Estadium Beheer.

Logistics sold at Schiphol by Joris van Gelder

In November 2014 we finalized a transaction of a 6,000 m² logistic centre at the Shannonweg at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

The property was originally developed by the vendor who used it for their own logistic company. Currently the property is let to Damco and IWS, those logistic companies are active at Schiphol Airport. The property is located one of the logistic business parks at Schiphol.
The property is sold to a private investor.

Estadium acted as sole advisor of the vendor, a group of Dutch private investors.

Van Duuren Logistics Portfolio by Joris van Gelder

On behalf of the owner we started the sales marketing of a portfolio of 3 distribution centers in The Netherlands.

The properties are located in Amsterdam, Groningen and Vianen and leased to several prime logistic companies. The Amsterdam and Groningen properties are Cross Dock facilities. Vianen is a regular DC.

With a LFA of 14.000 m² and an investment volume of approx. € 10 mio the portfolio offers an attractive logistic investment. 

The properties are owned and developed by Van Duuren, the owner of Van Duuren Districenters. A top five player of the family-owned logistic companies in the Netherlands.

Acquisition Monumental Villa in Amsterdam by Joris van Gelder

On behalf of Geofinance NV we have purchased a beautiful monumental urban villa at the Saxen Weimarlaan in Amsterdam South. The villa, a national monument, with a LFA of 440 m² is located at a superb location overviewing the Vondelpark. The area is considered as a high end live and work area in Amsterdam.

Geofinance N.V., an international operating company that provides oil and gas production services, will occupy the villa themselves.

Acquisition of a Shopping Centre by Joris van Gelder

On behalf of a Dutch private investment fund, Estadium has purchased a supermarket with other shops in Panningen (L).The property has a total LFA of 2,900 m² and main tenants are Jan Linders and Zeeman. 

Estadium has acted on behalf of the buyer.

The vendor was the Amsterdam Stock Exchange listed fund VastNed Retail.

New office for NNEK by Joris van Gelder

Noordnederlands Effektenkantoor (NNEK) signed a new lease for their new Amsterdam Office.The new office is located at the Minervalaan in Amsterdam South and replaces their current offices next to the Amsterdam Stock Exchange at the Rokin in Amsterdam Centre. The new office had a LFA of 700 m².

NNEK is a Dutch family owned securities and asset manager founded in 1986 in Groningen.

Estadium was instructed by NNEK to advice on the new housing.

Acquisition Canalhouses by Joris van Gelder

On behalf of a large international investment fund Estadium advised on the acquisition of 2 monumental canalhouses.The properties are part of the UNESCO world heritage and located at the prestigious parts of the Herengracht and Keizersgracht. Both properties are currently used as offices.

On behalf of the same client Estadium is active with some new Dutch investments and looking for opportunities.

Purchase Retail portfolio by Joris van Gelder

On behalf of a Dutch private investment fund, Estadium has purchased 4 retail properties.

The properties are leased to KPN, Kruidvat, La Ligna and Takko and are located in Apeldoorn, Almelo, Eerbeek and Zeist.

Estadium has acted on behalf of the buyer, and Estadium Beheer has taken up the property management of the purchased buildings.

The buildings were sold by Elizen Vastgoed and the AEX listed investment firm VastNed Retail.
 

Development of several Care Centres by Joris van Gelder

At several locations in the Netherlands, Estadium is now working on the development of multiple private living facilities for senior citizens.

Almost all these developments consist of remodeling existing buildings into apartment complexes with a special focus on combining living with (health) care.

In these developments, Estadium is working closely together with the care entrepreneur, who will – in all cases – be signing a long term rental agreement for the whole complex.
 


Development of new Logistics Centers in Venlo by Joris van Gelder

Recently Estadium has taken up the development of 60,000 m² in Venlo (Limburg).

The development consists of 2 new Distribution Centres, to be built at the sites of Trade port West and Trade Port Noord, in Venlo.

The DC to be realised at Trade Port West, called ‘Traveller 4’, will be 20,000 m² large. This DC is situated at tha last sight location at the A67 motorway near Eindhoven and the German Ruhrgebied.

The other DC to be developed; ‘Traveller 5’, will be a Distribution Centre at the size of ca. 40.000 m², which will be built modularly. Because of this modular way of building, this site offers the opportunity to ‘grow along with’ the need for space by the tenant. This way, thebuilding can now be constructed along the lines of the current need for space.

These developments are in collaboration with H. van den Boogaard Projecten BV, Tegelen (Limburg). 
 

Purchase of a Shopping Centre in Sittard by Joris van Gelder

On behalf of a Dutch investor, Estadium has purchased a Shopping Centre in the city of Sittard (Limburg).

The Shopping Centre consists of a Jumbo supermarket combined with seven separate shopping units.

The Shopping Centre also contains a private car park, and has the residential area to the east of the Sittard city centre as its service area.

Estadium has acted on behalf of the buyer, who has also taken up the management of the purchased buildings.

The buildings were sold by listed investment firm VastNed Retail.
 

Estadium Real Estate Management by Joris van Gelder

Having just signed several new instructions for real estate management, this relatively new part of the services being offered by Estadium B.V., is now beginning to grow to quite a considerable size.

In order to be able to respond to the increasing demand for real estate management, ‘Estadium Real Estate Management B.V.’ was started up in the summer of 2012.

The most important cause for the growth in the demand for real estate management, is the current economic climate. It has made market circumstances change substantially, causing a growing need for broadly experienced advisors who can manage a whole portfolio, with due care, in these uncertain times.

Within a year of founding the Real Estate B.V., the number of real estate management instructions has been growing rapidly. This will be related to the direct and “hands on-mentality” in which a business approach is combined with a human approach, and which is so characteristic for Estadium.

The current Real Estate Management portfolio of Estadium contains no delayed payments whatsoever, and Estadium has also managed to control and even reduce the service costs, at the same time making sure that the buildings are now in a better state of repair than they were before they were handed into the care of Estadium.
 

Acquisition of Amsterdam canal buildings by Joris van Gelder

On behalf of a Dutch investment company, Estadium has purchased 2 canal buildings in Amsterdam. Both buildings are in use as office spaces and are located in the city centre.

One of the buildings is 1.100 m² large and is a Rijksmonument, dating from 1667 and once belonging to the family Van Loon. The other building of ca. 3.000 m², is situated at the Leidsegracht and has 15 private in-house parking spaces.

Purchaser is the Amsterdam stock exchange listed real estate fund NSI.
 

Estadium Real Estate Management will also take on the management of both buildings, on behalf of the buyer.

Several new deals by Joris van Gelder

In the last few months of 2012, several buildings were sold for Deutsche Pfandbriefbank.

These buildings were several office spaces in Amsterdam, and also a 7.500 m² large sports the city of Den Helder in the north of Holland. This complex contains a.o. a fitness area, several tennis courts, a Spa and several catering facilities. The building was acquired by the new user of the building, using it for the premier league Dutch basketball team ‘Den Helder Kings’.

On behalf of a Dutch private investor, Estadium has acquired a portfolio of several shops situated in the cities Eindhoven and Deventer. The shops are being leased to different national chains. The building in Deventer is an official monument and is part of the protected city centre.

Official opening of HQ Sole Technology by Joris van Gelder

Late November of 2012, the owner and founder of Sole Technology, officially opened the new European Head Office in Amsterdam.

This sustainable building is situated at the Amsterdam port ‘Minervahaven’, and completely fits Sole Technology’s corporate identity. From this Head Office in Amsterdam, Sole coordinates all her European activities for her own labels like Emerica, Etnies and Altamont.

In 2010 Estadium also advised the owner, developer and tenant of this building, in the realization of this new Head Office.

Estadium sponsors speed skating team KNSB Baanselectie by Joris van Gelder

In October 2012, the ice speed skating season 2012-2013 officially started off. This season, Estadium is one of the sponsors of the selected speed skating team ‘de Baanselectie’ at the ice skating ring Jaap Edenbaan in Amsterdam.

The selection of speed skating team members have been training hard last summer, in order to skate some good races this winter. They can be seen frequently in their Estadium – Andantino competition outfits.
