On March 22, Patrizia acquired the logistics complex at Gyroscoopweg 3 - 14 in Amsterdam. The property with a lettable floor area of 13,577 m² is located in the Port of Amsterdam and leased to GLS, Jumbo, Marqt, TIP, Rensa and Sylvain Mode.
Estadium initiated and supervised the transaction on behalf of the three private sellers.
Over the past years the location has been highly sought after by companies working in or depending on the "last mile distribution". The two supermarket companies Marqt and Jumbo are new tenants in the property and use this location to deliver to their own stores or consumers within the Metropool Regio Amsterdam (MRA). Due to the proximity of the inner city the Gyroscoop location is ideal for the use of 100% electric transport. The location will increase in importance in the near future as soon as the realization of the planned 70,000 homes in the adjacent Havenstad project is started.
